Due to a tragic Shaving Cream accident (my roomate is currently in a feud with someone down the hall), I now have to find a way to completely clean my old Wavebird controller but have never had to do this with ANY controller before. The nintendo website says to use a Toothbrush and hot water, but I remember hearing that rubbing alcohol is a better solution as long as you use it sparaingly, give the thing time to dry, and actually have one of those Nintedo screwdrivers.

Anyone done this before that could throw me some tips? I'm all ears here.
