help on my new wii: sd card

I just got a wii for christmas and i dont know much about it, i just have one question about the Sd card for the wii, can it be used as a memory card? just incase i use up all the space left in the wiii

i also heard that its possible to download previous nintendo games, so if im downloading ssbm then do i have to have a game cube memory card or can i just store the game into a sd card?

You can store games and save data onto SD cards but you can't load directly off them.

You cannot download GC games, but you can play GC discs and yes you need a GC controller and memory card.

i got a qustion. if i save my games to the sd card can i go over to a friends house and play them?

i have gh3 and so dose my friend. i have all the songs unlocked and he dosnt. can i load my game so i have all the songs unlocked?

Yes you can but you'll overwrite his game saves.
