berries. i'm pretty sure thats the fastest way. just look at each berry's stats to see what they raise, and then force feed that little guy into a fruit induced state of bliss
Is this for diamond/pearl? It's been a while since I last played it. There was this item you can have it hold while traveling lots of steps. I usually use the bike path. A few minutes later, and it should be at max happiness. Even without holding the item it will still raise happiness, it'll just takes longer is all.
If you have Diamond and Pearl try going to that area with the fight zone in after the elite four. There's this whole story thing to do and after you complete it, it opens up a Pokemon massage place which is better than the normal massage :)

Give that Pokemon a soothe bell. Winning battles will also make them happier, but it's not advised. The best thing to do is to evolve your Pokemon while they're still at a low level and then to use heart scales to help them learn moves they missed due to the evolution. Also, a lot of protein, iron, zinc, etc. will make your Pokemon really happy. There's a Poketch application that checks happiness, once the Pokemon has two huge hearts that burst, then put them out into battle against a low level Pokemon so that they only grow one level, and once they level up they will evolve.

well im leviling up the same pokemon and hes close.
go to the place with the highest lvl pokemon you can go to.
bring your pokemon you want to level up.also bring along a pokemon that is really high lvl and can fight for a long period of time against tough pokemon.
put the pokemon you want to raise up 1st.when yopu start change the pokemon to the strong one and kill it.
the lo level pokemon will get xp for being in the battle and you can raise it up quickly. :)
