I have rented a few two player games for my kids i.e....Smackdown vs. RAW 2008, Monster trucks and a few others. I haven't been able to add in the 2nd controller so that they can play against each other. On the game that came with the system we are able to add in the 2nd controller and it works just fine. Can someone out there please tell me what to do to fix this problem. Thanks so much!!

make sure to have the one remote turned on and working so u can get to the main wii menu.

open the battery cover on the second wiimote, and open the sd card slot on the front of the wii to reveal two red buttons. press and hold down both buttons (one on the wii, one on the wiimote ) for about 10 seconds or until the second light on the second wiimote lights up and stay lite. when it does so, u have successfully synched the 2nd controller. and now u will have two registered wiimotes.

sometimes you can get it to work by pushing the home button then going down at the bottom to wii remote settings then re-connect them and just push 1 and 2 for all of the wii remotes, if that doesnt work then the above post works as well
