I just got Super Mario Galaxy today and was playing it for about and hour today. But tonight when I turn the Wii on the cursor on the menu would be normal and then go to the right so it would be completely inaccurate. I tried turning lights off, moving sensor bar, reconnecting the Wiimote, and adjusting the sensitivity. What should I do to fix it? thanks

Well you already moved the sensor bar, but I would double check to make sure there isn't anything obstructing the infrared (e.g. making sure the bar is perfectly aligned with the edge of the television). Or maybe there is something on the front of your wiimote (the black square part). If not, maybe your sensor bar isn't connected at all and is reading random things? :P Or try changing the batteries.

Also check that you have the sensor bar in the right place, i.e. its the right one in the wii menu, above or below.

It might be because of where you are sitting when playing. If you sit significantly lower than the sensor bar or have your aiming hand a bit low, you would need to angle the bar downwards so that front of it lines up parallel with the front of the wiimote, if that makes any sense. I've had that problem before as I lie on the floor when i play and the tv is mounted on the wall.

Make sure the sensor bar is sitting at the edge of whatever you have it one so the Wiimote can see it above and below.

Does everything look right on the calibrations screen (i.e. two dots slowly blinking no matter what area of the TV you're pointing at)?

Replace the batteries in the wiimote and also check the sensitivity level for the sensor bar in the Wii System Settings. I remember for reason I dialled the sensitivity right down and for a while after that had a lot of trouble, until recently when I got Boom Blox Bash Party and it said to ensure that the sensor bar was a sensitivity 3 or higher.

1. take of the bottom stand (i found that taking tha of fixes alot of aiming problems)

2. Make sure u set the sensor position correctly in your system settings

3. dont stand to close to the sensor

4. Make sure ur sensor is either directly under or above ur TV

5. maybe one of the IR lights in ur bar burned out. (to check get any camer, even a cellphone, and aim it at the bar and make sure their is a symetrical pattern to the lights
