I'm open to buy some helpful Wii accessories. Anyone mind dropping a few items down for me? I'm talking about things such as a item to help it from over heating. I heard that Xbox has something like thisso I was wondering if Wii had one also.

The only thing so far on my list is a rechargable battery thing. it's just $10 but I think it'll pay for itself in the long run.

Thanks

I just buy multi-packs of batteries. The batteries in the Wiimote seem to last forever. At least 2 Wiimotes and 2 nunchucks is a good idea, as is the Classic Controller. People seem to like having a Gamecube controller, but not I.

Rechargable batteries are a great idea. I've saved TONS of money using the recharging ones. No idea about a system cooler but I don't think you need one.

Yeah, of course. I plan to buy the Wiimote, nunchuk and classic controller in the future sometime. I'd probably prefer to play with the classic controller as opposed to the gamecube controller. usually, when I upgrade into the next gen. I like to utilize all of their new products.

Yeah, I didn't think you really needed a cooler anyways. But I'm def. getting those rechargable batteries. I remember when I had a GBC and I used to force my parents to spend a lot of money on batteries. I don't feel like going through that again.

Rechargeable batteries are good, charge stations are inferior and regular batteries? Well you're just crazy if you use them lol. Just make sure they're 2500 or higher

2gig SD card to back up game saves at the very least and movies, pics, and music if you want

No cooler, they're useless and do not help anything. The stories you hear about the Wii overheating is from a heatsink not placed correctly on the board. No matter how much air you have going through there you can't prevent it.

No man, the Gamecube controller is a must if you're gonna play Super Smash Bros. And some other Wii games utilize it too. You don't need to use the next-gen stuff just because its next-gen, that doesn't always mean it's the better control scheme. If you have a High-def TV, component cables are a must, because even though the Wii doesn't support High-def, it does support 480p (60 frames per second), which is a lot better than 480i (30 frames per second).

Yeah, some Wiis have a defective heatsink (they weren't placed properly), so they overheat and the graphics start glitching. But only a few of them have bad heatsink, probably like 5% or less.

Yeah I see where you're coming from but I already have a GC controller so it's all good either way. I actually prefer playing Brawl using the Wiimote and nunchuk. I just wanted the classic controller cuz it's out there but I guess I don't need it. Maybe in the far future when I have lots of money to spend or something.
