Hero of Sparta Looks Nice!

I told myself I wasn't going to download any DSi Ware games this week, but today they're adding Hero of Sparta, which looks kind of "God of War" - ish. Here's the game on the iPhone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yo-Hfbf9a5E

I played it on the iPhone and the framerate was so bad that I couldn't play it for more than five minutes. Judging by Gameloft's other awful ports to DSiWare, I'm sure that the transition has made it even worse. My advice to all of you is skip it skip it skip it.

Well I downloaded it, and contrary to what somewhat else said was the case on the iphone, the frame rate is very smooth. Graphics are very nice, as is the musical score. Very fun. Just when things might tend to get boring, there's an upgrade to another weapon or power that keeps it fun. It's one of my top 3 DSiWare games ever.

$8 seems a bit steep given that it's $5 on PSP and $2 on the iPhone (I paid 99 cents for it).
