So it looks as if the game can be nabed for $10 it's initial release price. At Amazon.com right now, you can buy the game for $29.99 instead of $39.99. This is nice, I think I may bite now, because that sounds more reasonable to me for this game. I've been looking at this game, but I never knew if I would buy it. It depends a lot on if there will be people to play with, and if the overall gameplay is solid. The graphics may not be the 3DS's best, but the online features certainly look to be the best compared to any 3DS game, and should become a standard. (Voice chat with friends and randoms, drop-in/drop-out seamlessly with players)

This is how most games are discounted on Amazon.

Lollipop Chainsaw was up for pre-order for $40 instead of $60.

Nothing to see here.

Just notifying people, it's not like I'm doing anything radical or trying to change anything. If someone wanted to get the game, but wait for it to be cheaper, this could push them out to the edge now to get it. I wish I grabbed Lollipop Chainsaw when it was discounted, but sadly I didn't. Cause id on't think it will be worth the full price of admission. This price reduction here made me want to buy it now.

I preordered it when it was full price and the price on it dropped automatically, which is nice. The fact that they keep pushing off the release of this is really helping me get through my back log. I've finished three games in a row thinking, "OK, this is the last one I can fit in before Heroes of Ruin comes out."

Is July 17 the actual release date? I haven't been keeping up to date with the game, last I knew it was TBD.

Yeah, it's only in Europe at the moment. N-Space has promised a demo for North America though.

How's the demo? Like the $30 price on Amazon. I just noticed that too. Might pre-order this one.

Eh, don't really need another multiplayer rpg. If it's got a decent single player story mode I might pick it up, but it doesn't really look like my cup of tea. I prefer the turn based rpg's I'll wait till the reviews come out before I look into this one.

well i have the full game now. i have put a couple of hours into it and am level 7 vindicator. also note that i have not tried the online yet. first i will get the bad news out of the way (nothing game breaking..just a few annoyances) its not a smooth game. it struggels to maintain 30FPS even with 3D off (leaving the 3D off barely makes any difference in most cases oddly enough). its still perfectly playable though. the loading times are also not as fast as i would like. the menus are also a bit naff. i understand devs wanting to make game menus flashy but the menu system in this just feels slow. slow to scroll, slow for stuff to come up...that kind of thing. in a game like this a fair bit of time is spent looking at menus and item lists so it can be a bit annoying. besides that my experience has been good overall. its a very solid diablo type game which is exactly what i wanted for the 3DS. lots of loot, lots of killin, bit more thinking involved that i first thought would be but thats no harm. its good fun to play and i can see it being really good online (though thats just theory..i still need to try it). the graphics are also nice most of the time. there are some blemishes and super low res textures from time to time but it also pulls off plenty of tricks and overall it looks nice. the character models also dont look well in close up (and their mouts dont move in conversation) but for the vast majority of the time the camera is fairly zoomed out so its not a huge deal. now that the 3DS supports patches i wonder if Nspace have any longer term support plans for this game. i hope any exploits online will be plugged quickly and if they could improve performance a bit then that would also be great. its also the type of game ripe for expansion packs so hopefully the game is successful enough that they can do that. i know they are going to be giving out new challenges for a year through spotpass so hopefully thats just tip of the iceberg stuff. so yea....anyone looking for something like diablo for their 3DS should certainly take a look at this. i can see it consuming a solid portion of my life anyway. :D. also my 3DS FC is 3136-6783-7670 so if anyone want to add me then feel free.

So Europe got the game today, Australia gets it next week, and North America has to wait a month? Come on....

Yeah, I didn't realize Europe got it first and was like, "How the hell did you get it already?" Oh well, I can wait a month... not that I want to.

Waiting a month makes me sad. Hey, osan0: try out the online- I'm curious as to how clear the voice chat is.

Europe gets the game and North America still has yet you even get a demo? :P I've been really anticipating this (probably more than I should) but the fact that we have to wait a month longer than everyone else is kind of puzzling. Then again, I'm a spoiled American who is used to getting games earlier than the rest of the world. :P

Waiting a month makes me sad. Hey, osan0: try out the online- I'm curious as to how clear the voice chat is.El_Zo1212o

had a quick go of the online. the voice chat is ok. best to speak fairly slowly and as clearly as you can though. also dont shout...just speak as normal. the 3DS mic seems to be pretty sensitive. sound quality may clear up with headphones on. a few other problems came up though. the game needs a patch.

1) loot is not reserved for particular players. its quickest to grab wins. thats frustrating as this problem was solved many many years ago. i hope they do add this to a patch. even just loot set to players randomly would be better.

2) it was only a quick go so maybe i missed it but there also doesnt seem to be a way to see the status of other players outside very basic stuff. you can see where they are on the map on the bottom screen but there doesnt seem to be a way to see their level and health. it does show when the player has paused but thats about it.

3) bugs. i had lovely looking poulderons from playing SP. i went into MP and at some stage the appearance dissapeared. the item was still equipped and i had all the stat bonuses from it but it looked like i had nothing equipped. i got a different item to equip instead to see if i could then switch back to the old ones. the new item did appear but when i equipped the old one again the appearance didnt change. going back to SP hasnt fixed the problem.

4) another bug. the group found a secret area. we all went into it to open the chests...except the chests wouldnt open. we werent experiencing any lag or anything that could cause it.

5) finally there doesnt seem to be a way to see if you are actually speaking to other people or not. even a small icon on the bottom screen that pops up when voice is being sent would be nice. im guessing people could hear me as i mentioned i found a mission objective and they came fairly quickly.

overall it has a bucket load of potential for great MP but the game needs some TLC on that front. these are things i picked up on in a 15 min session so thats not encouraging. i really hope these and any other issues that arise will be fixed though. on a more positive note, as i said above, the game itself seems pretty robust in terms of reliability though. i didnt see much in the way of lag and didnt encounter any errors.

EDIT: Gold is shared automatically.

It seems good. You start off in a forest area and are greeted with 3 or 4 quests, including killing the area's boss, destroying some enemie-spawning crystals and find things for someone to craft you a weapon. The controls feel nice and responsive, and you get some skills to try out. Graphics look good. The demo only lets you try out 2 classes, the gun dude and the lion dude. The demo was over very quickly, so I hope that area wasn't an "act", since it took about 10-15 minutes to complete. I like that you can dodge and parry attacks. Makes it more immersive than just slicing/shooting everything. After playing the demo, I'm still on the fence. It can be good if it's much bigger than what was presented, and if the multi-player is fun and mostly lag free. I just hope the price tag isn't an excuse to make a short game..

Thanks for the responses guys. Good feedback. If they can patch the game up, then we should be good to go. Cant wait. Maybe some of the game will already have patchs for it when it comes out in the US. Very excited about its potential.
