I am a huge hockey fan, and sports fan in general and with the wii being my primary system now i am really missing my hockey video games, any idea wether or not we will see a hockey title on the wii when nhl 09 and nhl 2k9 come out later this year? thanks in advance for the responces.
No word yet but I'm going to guess it'll happen this year.
In the first year of the console there was no indication that a sport as small as hockey would sell. That's why we only saw games with global appeal (soccer, baseball, football)
Now that the Wii has over 20 million and more by the start of the next season I bet we see someone take a shot at it.
Ive been waiting for a hockey game for sooo long and i even bought my wii mostly because i was sure they would pu a hockey game.... i really hope they pu a hockey cause they would make sooo much mony with it ... its their play.... they should really make one and if they dont lol i might sue them cause theres no reason for not making one lol just kidin i wont sue them but i would really freak out ... lol
I am hoping whoever makes a hockey game will try to use Winning Eleven's control scheme. It could maybe go to a Wii Sports style for shootouts...Jazunn
Hey awesome, that's one of the first things I thought of when I saw the winning eleven video come out months ago. That could work perfectly for hockey.
NBA Live 08 for the Wii has been totally trashed by game critics. So if you're looking for a great sports game for the Wii, don't expect EA to deliver.
