The 3DS will support WPA2 with AES which is great, and playing DS games on 3DS will most likely not affect this as the encryption should not directly have anything to do with the game code. GPRS isn't a encryption algorithm however. The lack of support for proper encryption algorithms is what's kept me from using the DS' wireless capabilities.

Me too. I thought it was about games and how the recent library of games Nintendo presented at the E3 consisted of mostly remakes. I'm not complaining about the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time though. :D
