How about them pre-orders?

I just got mine pre-ordered at Gamestop the other day. I ordered Cosmo Black (I still can't stop laughing at Cosmo), and I've put $140 down so far. How about you guys?

I have my Cosmo Black 3ds and Dead or Alive Dimensions paid off in full. Can't wait for March 27!:D

Will the 3DS be hard to find on launch in any way? My cousin said the GameStop he reserved his at is only get 5 of each color. I reserved mine today, but I am just wondering. Will this be like the Wii?

Yeah I remember Reggie said that they expect that around 1 million 3DS get online by the end of the summer in America, so I believe that will be the total number for a few months.

They made the launch numbers sound large, but they're in fact very tiny considering how much worldwide interest there is. I pre-ordered mine as soon as I could for $60 at my Gamestop. For the sake of everyone, I hope they don't have shortages, but I'm highly expecting everywhere will easily sell out. If you want one this year without too much hassle (night time line waiting, lottery drawings to see who gets to buy, etc), then it's better to be safe than sorry. I still remember not getting my Wii at launch and regretting it. I lucked out at a local store where I shop regularly though. The manager told me they get unadvertised shipments on Tuesday nights every week, so if you come in the morning on Wednesday, it's almost guaranteed to be in-stock because no one expects a shipment in the middle of the week. They had a couple Wii's in stock, so I had no issue getting one. I actually came back later that day out of general curiosity and they were sold out again of course lol. Fun times.

if u have the money & u desperatly need to have one at launch go ahead. Amazon & Gamespot still has preorders i believe. Its honestly up to u. It depends on what u think of the upcoming titles from lauch till the end of the year. u know what i mean?

I pre-orderered it last month. I put $100 on it but I'm going to trade in my DS lite and get the $50 deal and then pay the rest in cash tomorrow. I got Cosmo Black and I was going to pre-order a game put do I really have to??? I doubt they will be shortages on games.

So close to preordering! I'm literally at the checkout on amazon and can't decide a game to get!

Amazon is still taking pre-orders as is Gamestop, so I doubt there will be major shortages. In any case I have a cosmo black one pre-ordered from Amazon. I had 30 dollars in credit, so I'm getting it for only 220. Nice deal. Now I just need to get a game for it :lol:

I preordered the Aqua Blue 3DS on Amazon today. Very excited, I'm surprised they are not sold out on Amazon yet.

Just got mine today, standard $50 down but paying the rest when the tax return comes in... Good timing from what I understand cause this was there last day for pre-orders...

Aqua blue from Amazon. Can't hardly wait. It will be a couple months untill the games I really want come out, but there are some DS titles coming out I can play on it till then. Also, VC on a hand held is something I've been wanting ever since I got my DSI, so I'm uber excited to get my hands on some GBC titles in 3d(when the update comes out).

Preordered Cosmos Black from Futureshop today. Super hyped to play DS with my brother and maybe Pilotwings!
