[QUOTE="JzkBoxer"] [QUOTE="reggie186"]The complaints aren't about what we're going to get, but the fact that we don't have them yet, and Nintendo isn't telling us when we can have them.reggie186
Nintendo is waiting for the right time to launch their games, which is understandable. They blew all their big guns at once with the Gamecube and had a long drought because of it, right now they're just keeping people pacified with solid titles like Paper Mario until the time is right. Trust me when I say that SMG and SSBB are within a few months of being done, the only thing left is marketing strategy.
You could be right, but I'm guaranteeing you that Mario Galaxy won't come out until Oct, Nov, or Dec in order to help sell Wiis for the Holidays, and I doubt we will see Brawl anytime before September.
I've kind of mapped up a potential strategy in my head, and here's how it works:
Brawl - Late summer/Early fall.
Mario - Late fall/Christmasish.
Metroid - Spring
Other big name third party titles - Late spring/early summer.
That seems like a legitimate strategy to me and gives Nintendo a good time frame to keep a solid line of games on the market consistantly, something they've had problems doing in the past. Also, don't be too surprised to see them unveil that they're working on another Zelda game sometime next year, because the Wii needs its on exclusive Zelda. We probably won't see it until 2009ish, maybe 2010, but the fact that it's in the works will create a lot of buzz.Â
