Okay, it might not be terrible. But its a dumbed-down port of the PS2 version. Some of its best features have been taken out, it has no online play, and no DLC. It's essentially only playing Rock Band at its core.

Whereas Guitar Hero IV will offer online play, DLC, and won't be a port. ;)

So while I may have over-exaggerated, it certainly won't be as good as GHIV, and most people don't have enough money for both. I know I don't. :)

It may not be terrible but it is bad, now in its defense we as gamers sometimes need to not over expect things just because it does not DLC or Online does not mean it is bad. Example, the first guitar hero had none of this stuff but alot of people enjoy it thoroughly.

It may not be terrible but it is badatoria56

It's not bad. My brother couldn't help himself and bought the Wii version at midnight. The instruments seem to be a bit improved over the other versions, though I'll never understand the decision to put a screw in the battery cover of the guitar.....

The lack of online features does suck, but I honestly rarely play Guitar Hero 3 online. Online leaderboards are awesome, though, and the lack of them takes a bit of the fun out of the Wii version of Rock Band. But only a bit. It's still most fun in a group, just like the other versions.

Personally, I'm waiting for Guitar Hero IV since I don't have the money to buy both. Like SuperMario said, it will be the superior game in pretty much every area. But if you can't wait and have the extra cash (and only own a Wii), Rock Band is still an awesome game, regardless of the lack of some of the secondary features.

No, as the many poeple before me said, it is nowhere near what it is on 360/PS3. Wii version has no online, no DLC, and is basically a PS2 port.

The worst part is most people say the Wii version is no where near the other console versions because of graphics but this time its because of other features lol.

I know, it's really insulting lol. But Guitar Hero 4's gonna change that!
