how come my fire red cant fit into my ds game pak slot?

when i try to insert my fire red into the game pak slot it wont go in and i cant play it,what is wrong with it?i tried a little gba game and it fits......what do i do,do i need to get a new red version?or if not that would sapphire be ok for now?

if you try fire red it should fit with no problem. if you are tryin the original red version it wont fit since the ds cant fit original GB games. but yeah, saphire should work in there

Yes. That's an original GB game. The DS only plays GBA games.

there's no point in calling it "fire red" if it isn't...

and if it really is fire red like you said, there shouldn't be any problem

haha...I wish my ds played gameboy color games..I had to buy one in order to play my silver
