If I can remember correctly, it's still up in the air about how the online/friend code system will work right? As far as we know, there will be a system implimented by Gamespy which should make some significant strides in the online development process right? In addition, NA first online game will be Pokemon Battle Revolution, Right? Well I thought the Japanese have been online with that game for quite sometime. (if i'm mistaken then disregard this post.) How come nobody ever asked them a question about that?
you can battle random ppl in PBR, but you can only use 3 of your pokemon for 1v1 matches, or 4 for doubles matches, and the pokemon are capped at lvl 50 (so random ppl with 3x lv100 legendaries don't clean up every time) as opposed to friend coded battles, where there are no limitations.

Not every game needs to be online be a great game, and this is one of them. If this was a game online, I can see a lot of people quitting in the middle of the game. Now that wouldn't fun, would it?

Whats your point? With Friend Codes you could play against people you knew and not a bunch of quitters. Have 4 people in your house and 2 in another state. The addition of Online gameplay couldn't HURT Mario Party... Only make the party bigger! I think the reason we don't know about online specifics is that Nintendo waited till the last minute to make a final decision on the Wii and its firmware. There is alot of evidence to support my theory.
I would like the game to be online so I could party with my friends in other states.....not because the game is bad and Needs online. Yes, people would quit, but they do that in every other online game so lets just not have online games...
