how did you get ur wii???

i got mine from the first gamestop i got in for 250$ and LoZ:TP and SMG (GAMES alone of course) on 2/2/2008

i did some thing im not proud of, i made a deal with the devil...

naw i just got as a report card present from my parents and for making honour and a tie into a bday present

My dad's friend knows a guy who works with nintendo and i got it from him on like 2-19-08. no discount though

realised that I just had enough money for it on the 26th December 2006, so the next day I went to my local game shop and got one of the last ones that they had :D

oh and the shop assistant was really annoying, kept on trying to getmiito buy a game withit, I told her I only had enough money for thewiialone, which shedidn'tseem to register, and then started to try and makemiibuy another controller withit, so I told her again Ididn'thave enough money, which once again shedidn'tseem to hear, so she started trying to getmiito buy a game again and so on until she finallyregisteredthat I didn't wan to buy anything else with the Wii. :D

A gamestop by my house was having a Halloween special where the first 100 people to sign up get a Wii (You still had to buy it, but there was a guarantee that they'd save one for you). My mom signed up for it while x-mas shopping, even though she was pretty sure she wouldn't get it.

Well, she got an email the next week saying she was on the list. So she bought it and gave it to me and my brother (he moved out so we just swap it back and forth every few weeks) for xmas. It was completely unexpected!!

I have a great story that's really cute actually. I wanted a wii for my 16th birthday but I never got one. I was so bummed but my mom was determined to get me a wii. She told me a Best Buy was opening in the plaza where she worked but she never told me when it would open. The day of the grand opening, she left work in the morning and hurried to Best Buy to ask the guy for a wii and he said it was your lucky day because this is the last wii. My mom only got me the wii because she didn't know which games I wanted but that was fine because it comes with wii sports. So anyways when she came home from work she told me to help get the groceries out of her car and when I opened the trunk the wii was there. I started crying out of excitement and I was hugging and kissing my mom. It was such a happy moment for me and a great late birthday gift.s-baller23

I went to a Walmart on a Tuesday maybe around 11am, and I was looking for protein shake mix and jogging pants. I went to the electronic section and they had 4 of them. So I called my lady because she was looking for one but she didn't pick up the phone. I left her a text message if she wanted it, but if I bought it she had to pay me back asap so my check won't bounce or anything like that. But she didn't text me back in time, so I just bought my protein shake and jogging pants and went home Wii-less.

Probably like 4 hours later she finally returned my call and I told her it was her fault for not picking up or whatever. Anyway, I told her there were 4 of them. So when she got home around 5pm, she went there and luckily they had one more left. These things really do sell fast for some reason.
