I loved it! The problem was that I already played the PS2 version, but I got it for the wii, and the game didn't feel as great. but still, it was a good game.
i love it cept for the fact that it has ign mark on the cover. ever since i found that, i just cant look at the case without looking those anymore lolfunsohng

How? PS2 graphics, bad controls, some frame rate inconsistencies. graphics are better (in my opinion, more colorful, looks awesome in 480p), 16:9 support, controls are great after you get used to it, it`s just as riding a bike ;), frame rate totally superficial
The only bad controls for me were blooming and sometimes cherry bombs (the nunchuck dodging doesn't count as bad controls cause that attack is a piece of crap anyways). Awesome story, good length, and the combat actually takes timing. I heard you can button mash in PS2. Not like that on the Wii version, you gotta time your swings like a man!
Great game. Playing it on the Wii was my first time playing the game. I got 70 hours into it and I am almost done. For those, like me, who like to collect things Okami is loaded with things to collect and check off a list. I am enjoying the game very much.
It's great! The Wii is kinda weird in that if you were like me and you somehow managed to miss out on Okami, RE4, and Bully last generation then the Wii has been an awesome system. I mean those 3 great games in combination with Nintendo's first party games (Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime, Smash Bros.) as well as some of the 3rd party Wii exclusvie titles (No More Heroes, Zack & Wiki, de Blob, Boom Blox, etc.) make it so that the Wii actually had a lot of great games for only being 2 years old.
i found it quite fun. unfortunately, the biggets draw to the game, painting with the wii-mote, can be glitchy. the game itself is good enough that i looked past that though.
I like just about everything about the game. With that said, the controls are more frustrating than playing Wii Sports Boxing. I had to resort to painting in combat to be effective as the waggle fails to work. I hear that there's a timing to it, but there shouldn't be timing involved to simply make the first attack. An alternate non-waggle control scheme would've changed the game from being broken to being playable.
