how do i catch the big fish in twilight princess?

first, get the Frog Lure.

then you have to wait for the fishing area to be really green (trees, grass, etc).

then head to the nothern tip of the pond and cast your line into the area with the lillypads.

have fun!

get a frog lure from a mini game inside the fishing shop and use that to catch the hyrulian lych (spell that right?) make sure the girl isn't with u or she'll take it away when u fish with it.
