How do I get a ditto in diamond?

Do I need anything special besides the poke radar and national pokedex do get a ditto? I go to rout 218 and use the radar but I can't seem to get one.

Please Help.:D

That is an awesome site;) Also, you can find it at the route that is next to Canalve City and you have to use the Pokeradar to find it. Make sure to go to the patch of grass that glows a bit;)

I think its route 217 but not entirley sure its on the middle of the left hand side of the map. Yep pokeradar once got will become your best friend when catching pokemon. Equip your radar and stand in the grass when you see a glittery bit of grass go to that square and hopefully you will get a Ditto. If you miss wander around for 20 odd steps to charge up the radar battery then try again. They're not too hard to catch. Good luck.
