I have just bought a 3ds xl and luigis mansion. I read somewhere that after entering the codes I would be entitled to a free game. Can someone tell me how to claim the game. I have joined Nintendo club and entered both console and game code.
If you're in the US, there are sweepstakes you can enter. Otherwise, I don't think Nintendo gives out free games unless it's part of a bundle deal/promotions set up by Nintendo/Retailers.
You register both the 3DS XL and game on Club Nintendo. You'll have to make a Club Nintendo account if you don't have one. Then there will be something in your To-Do list on Club Nintendo. If you click it, it will give you a selection of free games to choose from. After choosing, it will give you a code to use on the 3DS XL in the e-Shop.
