how do i use mini mario to kill caterpillar in supermario bros ds in level 2

Someone help me with this one, but I think you have to be atleast regular mario to kill him. Tiny mario is too small to crush enemies...

But its been a while...I might be wrong.

In case you don't know how to do a ground pound:

Jump, and press the ground pound button.

well, u gatta jump off the walls to get high enough, then do that ground pound thing on its head. remember to jump off the walls tho!!!n00bkid

I did not jump off any walls and did fine. I guess it depends how far he comes out of the ground.
