I think it will be the world's fastest console for a while, but I make no specific comparisons as that isn't allowed here.
Will devs support it? Unit has to sell first. I think all the ingredients are there for this to be a huge console launch, possibly the biggest in history. Gen is stagnant, Wii U price is low, very interesting with the tablet controller, etc. If the unit sells very well, then devs and publishers would have to release product on the platform.
I also want to point out that plugging in four controllers without the use of accessories was accomplished with the Nintendo 64 (maybe even earlier, but that is my first recollection).
Should be good if devs support it (after launch window) & make a good use out of it instead of just with ports. :P
blog it and since you forgot the classic controller pro wii wheel nunchuck , and 360 controller ? nope sorry the xbox controller actually took its idea from gamecubes , so 1u p on you , and the sticks are on the top on u pad so its no where near 360 controller
The Wii U will be relevant until Microsoft and Sony release their new systems (either next year or 2014).
I agree, I think it really boils down to well developers use the controller in games, but until MS and Sony release their systems Nintendo will be the buzz of the console world. The Wii U will be relevant until Microsoft and Sony release their new systems (either next year or 2014).

and what makes you think you have specail previleges here that you can go directly against the terms of use by claiming such things, anyhow i dont think the 720 or ps4 is relevent inthis forum mister GTFOThe Wii U will be relevant until Microsoft and Sony release their new systems (either next year or 2014).

I think it's going to be a nice console. At least that's what I got out of my first and second hand-on time with it. While specs are important to a degree, I'm not too concerned about it going up against other next generation offerings, given the praise Wii U has received from Crytek, Gearbox, and etc. I put $50 down on mine in Wal Mart layaway(my local store doesn't have many pre orders for the system yet), so hopefully I can get it at launch. If sales are strong enough, developers will have the incentive to create products for it - or port their projects from competing consoles(this is fairly inexpensive, according to Ubisoft).
