I'm pretty sure like it's like every other baseball game. You move with the analog stick and get under the ball. As for bases you throw to first by pressing right on the D-pad and so forth.
Here is a hands on link. It says that they used the nunchuck in the fourth paragraph. The next page on the fourth paragraph explains fielding (yes they use nunchuck).
You swing the remote in the direction of the base as it is on screen, right-first up-second left-third down-home. Also drumming the remote and nunchuck while running for the ball makes you run faster.
If anyone wants to know how to rob a homerun, run into the circle against the wall after they have hit the ball and press A.
just wondering. do you swing the wiimote while holding each d direction?
