All I hearis the Wii should have a Hard Drive.. Or I'm tired of using SD cards.Like really.. I have 15 Wii games.. 3 of those games take up to or over 100 blocks.. and 14 VC games.. And 4 of those are N64 games.. I also have all the channels that I have downloaded.. And I still have 856 blocks left.So really.. What do you do with all your blocks?

I'm not running out, but there will be plenty more VC games and save games down the road. It's likely to get tight at some point in the time you own it. The Wii has only been out a year and you've used that much.

I think people also see the benefit of having a HDD. It would allow downloading demos, extra game content, and caching on the disc to improve performance and load times.

Well look at the 360's and PS3's HDD, you can buy an 80 gig PS3, true it can also store movies/music, etc...but for people who like to buy a lot of VC games and play a lot of Wii games, the memory on the Wii is just not sufficiant enough.

GHIII on the Wii is the weakest of all because of its lack of harddrive. I don't have an issue with storage as I only have 2 VC games (planning on getting more), but I do have a problem when it hinders the quality of the games released on the Wii. Also, when WiiWare games are released, I plan on getting quite a few of those and need a harddrive to get them. I also want the Dreamcast and GameCube to see games released on the VC and a harddrive is needed for those too.

I'm not running out of room either. And if I was running out of room, I would have no problem deleting some stuff and redownloading it later.

That's not the point. The point is that without an harddrive we won't see any demos or downloadable content in a long time.

Because they want to have all their Virtual Console games on their Wii

Then again they also try to cram all their game disks in at once too.

That's a pretty brutal generalization. Who is "they" exactly?

I think we brought up some great benefits of having a HDD, or alteast a lot more storage standardized.

Just go buy the disc instead of downloading. A little less convienent, but then you own a physical copy of the game you can take around. And probably cheaper too.
