I don't have it, but did you try looking in the manual? They usually tell you how to do things like that in there.

You can't, unless you complete the level. MAJOR design flaw.

so all you have to do is beat a level for the game to autosave? that's not so bad.

Yeah it's not so bad...

Also I'm sure if you buy something it saves as well.
