I like to have it horizontal it looks better, fits in between my narrow shelves and it's easy to use the gamecube-controllers without

tipping the Wii over.

Post pics! I was gonna put up a pic of my horizontal one, but the photobucket has kinda jammed.

I prefer to have it vertically. Perhaps its just more suitable for my setup, but i also like the way it looks when vertical.

Vertical cause its cooler (both looks and i heard its better for ventilation)

The Wii horizontally looks like an external dvd drive. Having said that i understand that having the Wii horizontally is so much better for wired GC controllers. I usually play singleplayer GC games now and have one Wavebird so im alright.

Vertical, it looks way cooler like that. The only bad thing about it it's playing Cube games.

I used to keep it vertial and then decided to buy one of those nifty cases that house the console, controllers and games and made sure I got one that kept my Wii horizontal because I started getting worried that my Wii would fall.

Vertical for me. It just looks more like a Wii when it's sitting in its stand. Then again, the stand does hold it at an angle, so technically, it's always been in a diagonal position. I can't remember one time that my Wii was horizontal.

i have mine vertical because my friend while playing a gamecube game pulled it off from vertical possition and now if i put it horizontal it makes weird noises and almost always cant read the disk :cry:

i had it originally vertical when i bought it, but i now have it horizontal because its easier for me to put in/out my gamecube controllers and it wont fall over.

I mgo horizontal, i broke my first wii when the weak stand broke and my wii fell onto concrete. To solve the fan problem i use a gamestop stand wit the fan. i took the bottom off

verticle I finally ofund a spot where my cat wont rub on it and knock it on the floor. btw I have to thank nintendo for makeing hardware that can stand up to a couple drops on the floor

vertical, horizontal isn't that great imo, you can't even pop open the gamecube controller pannel without picking the wii up if it's horizontal. Wavebirds solve the issue of pulling cords and wii's falling.

Vertical. When gamecube controllers are plugged in though, then it's horizontal. Most of the time though, it's vertical.
