I want to buy both of those games, but i dont own a VC controller. There all out where i live, and I bought SMW and it had the worst controls with the GC controller. So do those games play okay with it?

I played OoT on the cube when it came as a bonus disc with windwaker. I had no problems at all with the controller. DKC I haven't tried....yet.

For DKC, I primarily use the Y button to roll / move fast with Diddy and B button obviously to jump. There is no way to remap the buttons in that game and I would find it hard having to hold onto the Y button to increase speed and then push B to jump farther with a GCN controller.

DKC is awful, you need 2 fingers to hold Y and B at the same time effectively. It can be done, but it just feels clunky.

OoT controls wonderfully (except the analogue stick is a little on the sensitive side), but DKC is pretty bad, unless you want to devote a lot of energy into figuring out a way to play it comfortably, I'd try as hard as possible to get a Classic Controller for that one.
