its pretty sweet. best wii gave i have put my hands on...seriously. and its one of my fav new games right now
(metroid and blue dragon are competing for my time, and both are loosing to anime...getting into a game just requires more time than i have...anime is just 20 mins an episode!)
Not only is it the best game on the Wii, but it's really fun. The aiming and shooting controls are excellent for a first-person-shooter. The puzzles and exploration areingenious and feel rewarding once completing. I haven't finish it yet, since I barely have time. However, the important thing is--the game is alot fun!
It is alot better than echoes and a little better than prime 1 I like the back tracking is less painful than the other ones and makes more sense the boss fights are awesome
I disliked the first two primes, however Corruption is a spectacular game. Retro has gotten so many things right with this game. The game makes excellent use of the Wii-mote, the graphics push the Wii. The game also has a lot less backtracking.

its one of my favourite games of this gen (i only have two.. Metroid Prime 3, and Gears of war). Not to mention, one of my favourite games of all time. Its a lot better than the first two prime games.
Im only 1/4 into the game but I like it a whole lot... I havent played a metroid game since the first one on the gameboy so I wasnt sure what to think but I now think its the best game out for the Wii right now.

I wouldn't say its just out of the range of the cube but rather shows that the wii is more comparable/better then the best the xbox offers(granted, i haven't played much of riddick which people say is the xbox's best). As far as i'm concerned, it looks significantly better then echoes with alot more details, better lighting effects and textures.. and i'm no video-nut.
I'm only hours into Prime 3 as i just beat bioshock. But i will say this, eve after playing bioshock, prime 3 impresses and amazes me with every new room i enter.
very awsome game. im only 7 or 8 hours in but from what iv played so far its by far the best metriod game i have played. the graphics look crisp and clean,lots of varity and cool stuff to look at,controles are IMHO as good as any FPS i have played on PC. in fact the use of things like the graple beam ect bumps it up to better than most FPS games iv played on the pc lol. the story is good. great for a metriod game but nothing to wright home about. over all IMHO THE game to own on wii. While i would not say its perfect and not a 10 i would say as far as score goes some reviewers were just flat wrong with there scores :IMHO: id say a 9.5 at least.
i also think GS reviews were dead on. the boss fights are fun and the graphics are great. although i think it should have been rated a 9.3/10 rathers than an 8.5. its really fun game.
It is greatness on a DVD, I would give it a 9.6, same score as Gears of War.

I would probably give it a 9.6 or 9.7. It is a truly phenomenal game that surpasses the first two. The controls alone make the game an advancement on the series, not to mention the enhanced graphics and perfect(IMO) level design. This is one of those games, that when your not playing it your thinking about it, just waiting to get home and fire it up again. By the way, this game is in such a higher class than Gears, and I liked gears alot. It is better in pretty much every way, except graphics obviously. The art design destroys it though. IMO.

It does have some puzzles but not for the first few hoiurs and not on the scale of the first two. It's a lot of action, ahealthy amount of straight up exploration, and a smaller dose of actual puzzles. But it's all there and it's all the most amazing visceral experience.....
Oh and it should be noted that, to me, throwing the grappling hook at something, latching on, then yanking that something right off is the most physically delightful and entertaining thing I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED in a video game!!!!! It feels so damn good everytime.
It is a true sign of the future of gaming courtesy of Nintendo and further sets this masterpiece apart from every single other piece of software ever created.
It is a must have. I am a little over half-way done the game, and have had an amazing time. In my opinion it is the best one in the series, narrowly beating out the first game. Try this game, you will probably like it.
