dude it got released 2 weeks ago I bought and I can say strongly that this game is the only game that I disagree with GS on I don't think they are biased but giving it a 5 is ridiculus its a great game compared to most movie games it just makes me wonder about GS beleive I was convinced by a friend to buy this game and I was so skeptic about it but it surprised me

Just as good (or bad, if you wish) as the other Potter games, I suppose.

yea...its horribly underated here at gs...go to ign, they rated it more accurately(7.8) its a good game...not much combat though, that's the only problem, but the graphics(enviromentally at least) are some of the best on the wii.

It's not that great of a game because it doesn't need to be. They aren't trying to really do anything new, they just want to make it fun and appealing to the Harry Potter fan base. Who doesn't want to play as Harry flippin' Potter? I know I do. When we read the books we want those powers so we get them in the game. It's not a bad game, it just isn't being designed to be great. It's designed to please X group of people. They're going to sell to a significant number of people no matter the quality and spending more money equals dimininshing returns and a smaller profit margin. It would have to be a truly exceptional game to pull in more than just a few more HP fans and it just isn't cost effective. If you like Harry Potter, you'll like the game well enough as well.

I am a fan of the Harry Potter series(movies and books) And I liek the game. I would give it around and 8.5 for my review. The GS was far to low. The only problem with tthe game is that moving harry around gets clunky at points, and people get in your way. I find the whoel fetch quests and stuff to be relaxing. It is a game I can just sit back and play.

Thanks for the reviews. I rented it. It was way to short and the wii motions for spells wernt that accurate. I would probably get it a 6. But it is a fun game especially being able to use magic at will.
