How is this game so far?

The Conduit. From what i have seen this game looks pretty interesting because its a mature FPS. I did see this video on IGN.com that said the creators of The Conduit created there own engine, and from that video the graphics look like better than any other Wii game so far.

The game engine video was enough for me to see that they deserve the chance to make the game for the Wii

If that's not enough they also have two great first person shooters to work from (one Nintendo and one third party) as far as controls.

While I would have rather had a western I think that it's worth keeping an eye out for. Is it worth huge hype? No

No game is worth that kind of hype, all the hype garbage that Smash got bogged down with should be a reminder not to hype games so much.

The developers have their share of good and bad games, none of them FPS's

I wouldn't be suprised if this sold a lot, but was a horrible game. The only reason it'd sell is because its rated M too. -___-PikaPikaboo

they said 360 graphics. not even close. worse than all 1st party games but frankly its early in development and I don't care about graphics.

I don't care if its a generic sci-fi shooter because frankly we don't have one on wii and frankly I like them (Metroid is not a GENERIC scifi shooter)

Also the "super eye" thing or w/e they called it looked kinda cool. Temporary x-ray vision yes?

definately not worth all this hype especially considering its nowhere near completion but I will still keep a close eye on it

That's a tech demo.

I'll believe it when I see actual gameplay.

Not really. They look like an Xbox game at best. Hardly an engine that is pushing the limit.

They're basing the CONTROLS off of MOH: Heroes 2 and MP3. Learn to read.

I think I just realized something

We know barely anything about this game other than a tech demo and promises from the devs and yet its getting so much hype it could get its own sticky

why is this?

Well I think its quite apparent that the devs hit the nail on the head when they came up with the concept

show the GS forums to other developers and then lets hear them say we don't want a mature FPS

the very idea that we could potentially be getting one that could potentially be any good has us frothing at the mouths. Even if this game doesn't live up to any of the claims the devs seem to be making I think this should be a kind of wake up call. Apparently this is what we want
