Um yea the browser really really sucks. From what I remember it is like any other typical browser that is not on a computer. It supports SOME music, and videos, but pictures it does support, and you have the option to turn that feature off. Most sites are blocked, gamespot might even actually be one of them. It is really not worth it, the Wii browser blows the DS one out of the water by far, and it still sucks.

yes you can browse the internet, play videos (well .dpg files, but you can convert them easily), and music, it also supports instant messaging services like msn. at least mine does.

hey diped, the videos and music files that you are telling about , you can play them but only from the internet, like yahoo music, or radio stations and youtube? or there is a way to have these files like an ipod ?

is there other cards like sandisks that are compatible with the DS ? and can you use it for play music or videos ? how does it work ?

You can buy a such devices, that fit into the GBA port, which will read mp3 files and movie files from the cards. However it's a touchy subject on here as many use these devices to pirate software/DS games. I can't help you anymore as I don't own anything like this. You're best friend will be either eBay or Google.

Forgive me but for a moment it sounded like you were trying to dance around the "illegal methods" issue for a minute, lol.

if i want to do illegal stuff with my DS ive already crack it, lol :P but i was looking for some info guys, wich is still inside the nintendo methods, you are all saying that the only "legal" way to play video and music files is via the DS Browser, by the way, how it works sites like facebook, youtube or gamespot ?
