Special "limited edition" gameboys are out from gen 1(brick) to the new ds.

i know of: mario,zelda, milo, pokemon, nes controller pattern,

what others r out that u know of??

It depends on what you define as a limited edition. It also depends on if you want everyone from around the world or just in a certain region(like U.S. releases only). I just saw a picture from the Nintendo World store in NYC that has over 45 different versions of the GBA SP inside a glass case. Japan alone seems to get a special edition DS with every Square Enix game thats released. What I'm really trying to say is there have been tons of colors and limited editions and I really don't have an answer for you :P (some are in the Nintendo World store so if you google/yahoo search it i'm sure you can find pictures of the display that people have taken)

yea, im seeing that. and thats NOT in cludng all the "special" cases u can buy and mod ur dsl with. ITS NUTZ!!

My friend had an special gameboy color (have no idea if its limited edition or no) that was a transparent purple, it was weird to see what is inside the GBC while playing.
