Just the one PHAT. It's still going strong and I bought an extra battery but so far haven't had to use it.
I may eventually buy the new DSX but that's still a couple of years down the road for me. I never buy a new toy the first year it's out as most of them are buggy as heck!
There are three in the household. My daughter has a blue DSi and a pink Lite. I have a silver Lite.
Are there any advantages of multiple systems? None that I can see, except the other day my Lite ran out of juice and I was able to pick up my daughter's extra one and keep playing.
Originally she had a white Lite, which I used for awhileit was her first system and she wasn't as careful with it, took off the screen protector, used a pen cap as a stylus. It was scratched to heck and when she wanted a DSi, I made her trade it with some awful games at Gamestop. It was actually a great deal because I only ended up paying about $20 for her DSi.
But now I want a DSi for the downloadable games and I'm thinking I don't want to give up any of the Lites now. I'm eventually going to get a DSi for her and get the hand me down blue one.
wow are we twins? i also have four, 3 ds lites(blue, red, pink) and one phat.Uhm... four technically, but one of them is completely broken.
Pixel-Perfect
but the pink and phat have their screens and hinges messed up. especially the "DS" pink lite which cant play DS games. thanks to my bros!
actually, tha advantage is you can have multiplayer if you have same games or if there is a download play option
I have a DS lite and a DSi(favorite system ever!). I had a DS phat but I traded it in for the DS lite.
Considering I bought them all for the house I'm going to say 3. I bought one for me, then my wife kept taking it and playing it so I got her her own so she'd stop touching mine. Then my son wanted to play ours all the time so he got one (from me) as well.
So two DSi and one DSL.
Only use one myself though of course.
Well, the only real advantage I can see for having two DSs is trading pokemon over to different files. It just makes it more convenient.
I only got just the 1 :( If you have two or more though you can vs each other in most games wirelessly
I have a DS Lite that was practically new when I found it on the sidewalk lol..that's all.Flapjacks_ElmoWHAT. Lucky D:
I have two DS lites but I might get a DSi since one of my DS touch screens are broken. Maybe there's some way to fix it, anyone?

I have 2 phats, 5 lites, and 2 dsis. I let kids/nephews/nieces borrow them (it's good for kids, they stay out of my hair that way).

Do you even have that many games?
I have A one DS phat (worn out, but working) and one DSi
I have about 3 times as many games :D but some are just for the kids, you want my list of that too???
I own one ds system, the DSlite.
Pluses of owning more than one DS:
-play multiplayer games (especially with friends/family who don't own one themselves)
-getting all pokemon on your own
-so you can play gba games and DSiWare games (given you have DS phat/lite and DSi)
That's all I can think of.
WHAT. Lucky D: I remember a time when my friend found a GBA with Pokemon Ruby in it at the bowling alley one time. I was pissed at him, lol. And on topic, I only have a phat. Planning to get a DSi or XL soon.[QUOTE="Flapjacks_Elmo"]I have a DS Lite that was practically new when I found it on the sidewalk lol..that's all.GamingKidX
