The difference is that Luigi runs a bit faster and jumps a bit higher. I think that [spoiler] you also unlock a new star after you've got 120 with Luigi. So if you want to finish SMG 100%, you have to play as Luigi. [/spoiler]
I'm only at 25 because I got SMG at Christmas along with GHIII and MP3. Then I went and bought MOHH2 so I've been playing a variety of games. How many stars do you have to get in order to play as Luigi?
I've got about 30 stars with Luigi now. Enjoying it all over again as mostt of the stars are only my second time playing as I was too busy collecting them all with Mario to replay them. The level design is simply wonderful. Its stopping me from playing MP3 which I had about half finished when I got SMG. And to stop me playing that fanastic game is some feat.
I only have about 17 or so but I am not in that much fo a hurry to finish it. I am always that way with mario games, it took me about 8 yeas to beat mario 64! the only games that i tend to beat quickly are zeldas and shooters.
I completed the Mario quest. Now, I have to beat it again with Luigi. With Luigi, I'm at 30 stars. At least, it took me less time since I know how tocollect stars.
