once.. then i moved it so its horizontal now. It only feel because i was playing melee with friends, and i tugged on the controller to hard by accident and it feel. it left one big scratch, but, its ok.. its not really noticeable, only when u put light on it.
The only system I ever dropped was my Gamecube but that was because I tugged on the controller a little too hard and it flung off of the entertainment set.

Ah man, I've had so many fallen systems. I remember the day I had bought my PS2 way back, when i brought it home, got knocked off a shelf, about 5 feet. I thought it was done for sure, but it still works today.
not once. my wiimotes are constantly getting knocked off the table though, but thoes are tough little things. I dont think ive ever dropped a home console, but my handhelleds allways take a good bashing, but not one has ever broken.
my cats have knocked it over twice. But it didn't fall anywhere it just got knocked from Vertical to horizontal. I've launched my Wiimote playing Wii Sports once too.

I'd like to point out, however, that the keyword is "melee".
The only gaming device I've ever dropped (other than the 100+ times I dropped my Gameboy growing up) was my PS2 controller. But of all the places to hit, it hit the PS2, causing the disc cover to flip open, Final Fantasy X to pop out and spin repeatedly on the edge of the system rendering the game nearly unplayable. The game starts up and doesn't freeze, but it just won't load animations. Lulu was casting Blizzard, but was just stuck holding her hands up. With the Wii, never. I use Wavebirds for Gamecube games, so there's no risk of pulling it.

My friend dropped his GC down the stairs, it's still perfectly fine with no visible damage. The handle came off, but that was just snapped back in.

oh and I've never dropped my wii or had it fall... I've dropped my gamecube and probably my NES or SNES when I was younger.
my wii fell just once, i had just bought it, i was walking in the mall with the gamestops bag with my wii inside it, and since the box of the wii is a bit heavy the bag wasnt resistend enough and ripped and the box fell and every body around me were staring like wolves saying "omg hes got a wii" so i quickly picked it up and i felt a bit embarassed too.
