I own a Wii and i love having ppl over to play party games. So the question is.... which setup is the best (with value for money in mind)?

2 wiimotes + 2 nunchuks

4 wiimotes + 2 nunchuks

4 wiimotes + 4 nunchuks

Of course if one can afford having all is the best but right now not many games allow 4 players multiplay with both nunchuk and wiimote. Do u think that in the future they will be useful though? Im afraid like most games will be like Brawl where they use GC controllers....

4 remotes and 2 nunchuks. But it all depends on what games you're getting. Super Monkey Ball for instance has a lot of mini-games that require nunchuks.

i have 2 motes and one nunchaku!
Most of wii parties are with ppl that also have wiis, we usually dont have problems on setting up controls for a 2vs2 tennis match, 1 on 1 box, etcera.

When i buy a a Dragon Ball, or NHL08 i WaNNA buy the second nunchaku!

so sum it up: 2motes+2nunchaku is the basic package i think when you have people to play with ya!

2 Wiimotes and 2 Nunchuks. I mean I have the ability to play multiplayer still if alone with someone but if I want to get a 4 player game going I just get someone else who has a Wii.

I have 2 wiimotes and 2 nunchucks, which suits me fairly well but eventually i want to have 4 and 4.  I'd say it depends how many people u play games with.  If you just have one gaming friend then 2 of each is good.  If you have more then i'd say go with 3 or 4 but to start off 2 seems to be good

I have 2 wiimotes and 2 Nunchucks.

If people want to play 4 player they bring their own remotes and nunchucks.

I don't have friends visit too often (the result of currently living so far out of town), so 2 + 2 works fine for me.

I have 3 wii remotes and 2 nunchuks

I'll probably eventually get another wii remote and 2 more nunchuks if a lot of games support 4 players using both remotes.

I have 2 Wiimotes and 2 nunchucks. For the moment I have no reason to buy anymore, which is a good thing. The amount Nintendo charges for these things is pure robbery.

4 wiimotes and 1 nunchuck. Got 1 wiimote and 1 nunchuck with the system. My two brothers bought 2 wiimotes, so that we could play multi-player, and I got 1 wiimote for free from Nintendo, since they screwed up a little.

Literally just one Wiimote and one Nunchuck. The same ones that came with the Wii. Not many friends come over so I don't see a point in buying extra stuff for them! :D

I own 2 sets of each. what i do if i have people come over is i tell them to bring there own. if thats not possible and theres some sort of party at my house then i just rent controlers at the blockbuster in my area. there really is no need for 4 sets of the controlers. your good with 2 and 2.

two remotes and 1 nunchuck and 1 classic, got the extra remote without the nunchunk cus i thought my original broke, but then after starting the wii with the new one, the old one worked again. So i got two now, only played with another person once though, but im glad i got it, only zelda requires a nunchuck out of my games and it is single player anyway.

I have 3 remotes and 3 nunchucks. I hardly ever use my 3rd remote because A) it uses regular batteries instead of the nyko rechargeables and B) most of my friends have their own remotes/classic controllers/wavebirds etc. If your friends are planning on buying a Wii then only get one extra remote and one extra nunchuck. If no one you know plans on buying one then I suggest having 2 nunchucks and up to 4 remotes. Most games that have more than 2 players do not use the nunchuck.

I understand that right now 2 of each will be sufficient. But im thinking about the future cause my housemate is going back Japan and she can get 1 wiimotes and 2 nunchuks for the price of 1 wiimote here in Aussie.

And for those with 4 wiimotes and 4 nunchuks, what games can you actually play with all of them other than Monkey ball?
