How may upcoming HARDCORE Wii games can you think of?

Okay, so I'm all for Nintendo capitalizing on the casual maket, Wii Fit, bringing in new gamers, printing money, and all around dominating the world using these methods.

But what about us?! The Hardcore gamers who have supported this industry and the company since it's inception!

I have a good list in my head but I want some help; What upcoming titles can we think of to look forward to that are Hardcore games for us hardcore gamers? Let's make sure Ninty hasn't forgotten us. Think of some I haven't...PLEASE!

It is only going to be a year since the console has been released and we are going to have a bunch of hardcore games by that time. Don't worry Nintendo won't forget about the hardcore gamers but they will also grow in casual gaming.

Oh this is totally true. Trust me I haven't "given up' on Nintendo. I'll list one as an example I've thought of to see what else anyone can come up with: Final Fantasy Cryatl Chronicles.

Have you seen the trailer? MAN that game looks surprisingly BAD@$$!!!!

I'm all aware of the triumvirate of Metroid, Mario and Smash...but there are others. I'm curious who knows of the ones I know about and I'm curious to see if anyone can name some I haven't thought about.

With Wii Fit being the MegaTon this year and a Slooooow stream of info I wa dissapointed for the first time as a whole from Nintendo. This coming from a regular guy who WENT TO E3 IN 2004!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (the year they showed the DS. That's right I played it the DAY they showed it to the world) So I want to know what else they can do for us eh.

SMG, MK wii, SSBB, MP3, BWII, Guitar hero 3, all the EA sports, manhunt 2, NFS:PS, No more heroes, Project Hammer, Disaster, WWE: Smackdown vs. raw 08, RE:UC, Civilisation revolution, Soul calibur legends, FF:CC, DQ:S

And thoes are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head, there are many more I can't think of.

I think I'm the first to mention Dragon Ball Z plus the follow up coming soon. Madden is another hardcore title.

THe idea that the Wii doesn't have hardcore titles is false.

I'd even throw in Rayman for hardcore, I see hardcore gamers wanting to unlock everything in the game and get best scores in each area. In order to do that in Rayman Raving Rabbids you're really going to have to work at it.

I started to hear the Rumor that Project H.A.M.M.E.R. will never see release. That would be terrible!!!

And good call with Umbrella Chronicles. Near the top of my list :D

And I agree that the Wii version of Madden I think qualifies as both casual AND hardcore. Plus I want it bad!

Project Hammer is only on hold (officially announced), it's not canceled. The developers have been shifted to other projects with a higher priority.

A very small amount of Wii games are actually made for casuals, even if it may seem so...
