I have a 3DS that is registered for the ambassador's program and it is in great condition. It has screen protectors and zero scratches. I even will throw in Ghost Recon with it. I've checked on craigslist and its running from 200-250 so I want to see how much you all would pay for it. I basically don't use my 3DS at all and I would like some money to spend on a new PC or a PSVista.

If i wanted one, i would offer you about $50 less than the current new 3DS price of $170. The ambassador games are worthless and it is a used device. So, i think you are asking too much for your 3DS. good luck.

$200 is the max you'd get I think, and that's if you're in an urban area (where people actually want these things). Personally I wouldn't spend more than $150 on a used handheld, games or no

With the ambassador stuff and Ghost Recon you might be able to get the current retail price for it. The ambassador games aren't going to add much value to it.

$120 sounds fair since it's used. They're not too expensive anymore. But if it's in "like new" condition, then maybe $140. That still a decent discount, but still worth far less because they won't be able to get Club Nintendo points with a preregistered system.

A slightly used system like that with a game I'd pay 150-170.

For a practically brand new 3DS with a game? I think higher than that.

Possibly 150 at very best based on OP. You can't expect to get much money for the system since its value was dropped to 170 retail price. If you really wanted to sell the system, you should've sold the system before the price drop, where you might've managed to sell it for as much as 200.

I'm considering buying a second hand 3DS in the UK. What are Club Nintendo points and why are they valuable enough to have a big impact on the price of a second hand system?

Club Nintendo points only matter if you have a Nintendo account, and if you don't I'd recomend you make one if you have any Nintendo console. When you buy new consoles, hand helds or games you get a card with it with a number on and you can register it on your account and with these points you can get free stuff from Nintendo. So if you buy used you wont get the points unless the other person didn't register it.

On topic: because of the price drop you would be lucky to get $150 for it.

So.. you bought a 3DS when it didn't have any games, and now you want to sell it right before it will get games? Smart move.

Someone in my area is selling their like-new black 3DS on Cragislist for $140, which includes the 10 nes games and, of course, the ability to download the GBA games. Hope that helps a bit in deciding on your price point.

Why are you selling it now? Do you have any idea how many awesome games are coming out for it this fall? Dude, hold onto it until at least January, and if you still don't play it, THEN sell it.

He explained why. He needs money for a PC or Vita. Sadly, he's going to find himself in the same predicament if he goes with a Vita.

If it still looks like brand new, then I would say $120.00 to $130.00, and do you have the receipt.
