How much does a brand new DS game cost in the USA?
Just curious, I'm from Sweden and I believe the games are pretty expensive here (but maybe I'm wrong).
A new DS game costs ~75 bucks.

Well in Canada they range from about 10 bucks (The games that no one really buys/knows) to about 40 bucks. And that's in Canadian dollars. I don't know the exchange rate from Swedish dollars to Canadian dollars or to U.S dollars, but the U.S.A usually has games at the same price as Canadians.

XD They're even more expensive here. At least 2k for a new game and 1.5k for a slightly older one.

Philippines. Exchange rate's at 45-ish pesos to a dollar so... that's roughly $33 for an old game and $44 for a new one. *nodnod* That's hell annoying to save up for when you only get $3 a day. :/

in the US, new games are usually 30-40 dollars, 30-35 is the 'normal' price. i didnt see many 40's until recently, and like the someone above me said, theyre basically square enix games that fans would buy no matter what price they were. some games like brain age or crosswords that dont take as much dev time sometimes come out at 20 dollars new.

New releases can range from $20-$40. $20 games are usually light puzzle games and $40 games are usually Square-Enix RPGs. Guitar Hero: On Tour is $50 also.

40 dollars- Square Enix games.

35 dollars- Top tier Nintendo titles, like The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl Version, Metroid Prime: Hunters, New Super Mario Brothers and the like.

30 dollars- Mostly third party games.

20 dollars- Light puzzle games, as someone mentioned, like Brain Age, Big Brain Academy, Vision Training in Minutes a Day, My Word Coach, and the like.

I also saw Dementium: The Ward for twelve dollars. Needless to say, I didn't pick it up.

Games usually are pretty expensive here.

$20 being the cheapest, and $40 being the most expensive.
