How much money will you be dropping for your Wii this year?

Well, first I have to buy one so that said I'm already at $250 :cry:. Then ofcourse I'll need a game, I'll probably get Pokemon Battle Revoloution because I'm a hardcore Pokemon Pearl player and I enjoy battling. I don't care what reviews say :P! Then my plans are to buy only two games for the rest of the year for the Wii which will be MP3and SSBB. Grand total is...

Roughly $375 including tax just for the Wii and Wii games. As for games I'll buy for my PS3 and 360 for the rest of the year included with my Wii purchases, we're talking like a little over $1000!!! :cry: That's almost all my money from my summer job! But it's ok, it will be well worth the cost because the games I'm getting are going to be incredible. :D

I already have one...and...I'll end up getting rid of about $400 dollars. Now, as a financially troubled person, this may seem difficult for me. But I made a wise decision and started a gaming fund, to where I put about $25 a week into. I've been doing this for a while, and I have $750+ so...I feel good about that. Then I'll have extra money left over for...component cables...maybe even a small LCD TV I use solely for gaming.TigerFangRed

All I can say is a lot of money and i'm not talking about just the games

well this year i've already $550+ on it.

the wii 250

two wii games 100

2 controllers + nunchuck $100

vc games $120

for the rest of the year i plan on getting 3 wii games and some more vc games so maybe $180

I need to buy a few last gen games first, so they don't get poulled from the shelves.

after that, just about every game i want is on the wii. I can easily spend hundreds on games and the virtual console

$960 CDN on games (Thats if i get all the game i want that are coming out this year).

Already Spent over $250 on Points cards so far, prob. 100-200 More by years end.

I will be not buy any thing for the wii this year because i love the 360 and the 360 has sweet games coming out this year

first of all man listen to me when i say this DO NOT GET pokemon battle revolution it is HORRIBLE in every way. then get rid of your PS3 for cash because its well not any good so there you will have alot of money to buy some good games. there are alot of good ones on the wii take your pick

I will be dropping the wii this year if games don't start to get better for it. sure there are a few great games Zelda,papermario butthe wii is geting mostlywatered downports from other systems. Where is the online play. Will the wii be able to handle some of the complex games.I knew when I got the wii it wasen't going to be graphic powerhouse,but most of the games out don't look any better then the gamecube and some look worse most get even lower ratings. The virtual console games have been great and the main reason I still like the wii.I am excited about the new mario and a few titles. I just hope we start getting some quality titles.

Mario strikers=$50

Wireless sensor bar=$20

Wii points=$50

And hopefully REUC=$50 So pretty much $320

Lets see....

Mario Strikers Charged, Bwii, MP3, Smash Bros, Super Mario Galaxy - lets say they're all $100 AUD each, thats $500 on games, and I bought an XCM V-Box, which was $90AUD including shipping, I might spend $100 on VC games this year, and also this year I bought SSX Blur, so thats another $100.

$790 AUD this year approx, unless other good games come out.
