How much store credit for a DS lite

I want to get a DSi and trade in my DS lite, now i called EB games and they told me ill get $75 (canadain) for it which would mean i still have to put down about $150 for the DSi. Does $75 sound about right for a DS lite?

what i heard is that it's 200$ canadian so you only need to put in 125$

Thats about the amount we got when my son traded in his DS a couple months ago(he hadn't played it in months since he got a new PSP). The were intially going to give us $45 but there was a coupon for an extra $25 for trading it in. Only 2 more weeks until you get your hands on that DSi.

Yesterday when I went to gamestop with my friends, we got this little paper that said if you bring in a Ds lite, you get 70$ off, regular Ds 50$ and the gba sp I think it was 25$.

I would strongly recommend you call your nearest GameStop and ask them before selling your DS to someone else. Then compare the deals and choose.

You may want to call around to more GameStops/EBs because some of the staff at those stores have no clue what they're talking about. I would think an employee would already know if you could get a special discount with only a couple weeks until the DSi's release. Not a very reliable answer the employee gave if you ask me.

Gamestop sale used DS Lites for $109.99, and right now they are giving for them in trade-in $50.00 plus $25.00 if you're trading it for credit. For me $75.00 is a good deal considering you're getting more than half the price of a used one.
