DON'T FOLLOW THE POLL QUESTION WHERE IT SAYS 8-12GBs THE TOTAL HARDDRIVE STORAGE SPACE HAS BEEN INCREASED. VOTE BY THOSE NUMBERS.

How much would you put down on the line for a...Wii External Harddrive that can hold up to 20-25GBs.(Don't follow the poll space)

That could fit a couple of demo's, (delete them after and download new ones) and many trailers/previews.

How much would you put down?

Me, I'd put down..40-60$ for one.

The reason why I put so little space on the harddrive is because this is what it'll probably come down too. Nintendo didn't release a harddrive with a console so don't expect the storage of an external harddrive to be great. If a 20-25GB Harddrive came out, I'd be very pleased. No need for 80GB HDD in my opinion. But, the more, the merrier.

ROFL for 8-10GB? Like $20. For 80-100GB I'd pay around $50 or so.

80gb HDD are like $40, this isn't the early 2000s. Big HDD are very common.

Maybe, but I'd say a 80GB HDD will sell around 70-80$. But, I don't think Nintendo is gonna' release a 80GB External HDD. Mainly because of the lack of content, but maybe they'll have to because of the WiiWare software that is gonna' be released. Games like Final Fantasy looks like they take loads of space. And with the Everybody's Nintendo Channel coming out in a while, we'll be getting more DS Demo's and Wii trailers.

Who knows, maybe you're right.

To expensive, you can pick up a 350GB for $80. But of course Nintendo would want to make a profit off of their product(if they choose to distribute their own HDD). Best option would be just to enable external drives through the usb port and let people pick up their own.

They could just do what they did with the usb keyboards and allow current usb hard drives to be compatible with the wii.

I hope they choose this. It doesn't make sense for them to manufacture their own, and if SD cards and keyboards are any indication, they probably won't bother.

Yeah, they'll probably pull a microsoft and charge $90 for a measley 20 GB HDD. Huge rip-off.

Nothing

Give me solid state that's sure not to fail for almost all users instead of a hard drive that'll break over time no matter what.
