How often do u charge your battery

Hey everyone, How often do you have to charge your battery? The manual says it will last 15-19hrs on the lowest setting and I have to charge mine about once a week, I play a couple hours a day and I was just wondering if that sounds about right or not? My brother had a ds before and had to charge his battery every other day until Nintendo sent him a new one

yea, supposedly it's 30% battery left when it turns red, but i've had it die within 15 minutes of it going red. i use full brightness all the time, so it sucks it up. i charge about once a week, i think. twice if i've been playing a lot. but i don't play that much. close the cover and it'll last a week in standby mode, so you can see that it really saves power that way. so if you need to leave for 15 minutes, just shut the lid and come back!

 p.s. you almost need to plug in the ac adaptor when playing wifi, that really drains it.

I will usually wait until I get a red light.  The only time I will charge it before that is if I am planning on going away.

 Yeah that sounds normal, when it is in the highst brightness it drains the battery the quickest, I almost always play with mine on the lowest setting.  The manual says the battery will last 15-19hrs on the lowest setting so I wouldn;'t worry too much

It really depends on the game,on nsmb on highest it last me about 2-3 days of random play. Mariokart however last around 1-2 days on highest brightness,it's still long enough for most play times though,can't really complain about it.blacktorn
