I don't play GameCube games on my Wii at all. But that's because I still have my GameCube hooked up to the TV and I only bring the Wii out of the dresser once I get a new game. Otherwise it's packed away. (Lord knows I don't need it taking up shelf space with its lack of releases, anyway).
Earlier this year I played through Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door again, and I did it on my Cube, not the Wii.

Why not just pack the GC up and leave the wii out? Same thing, just better.

Rarely. Lately, I've been trying to think of a GCN game to play, but for the most part, I end up playing a Wii game instead. I have to be in one of those moods in order to pull a GameCube game out of the box these days. Still, it's good to know I don't have to pull out the GameCube itself out of the box in order to play those games. :P
We travel a lot, so when I'm at home, I use the GC to play the games, however when we travel I can only take a few systems with me so the Wii becomes very handy for times like that. Of course, I play my games more when we are away so I think I use the Wii for my GC games more then my GC.
Hardly ever. I've only played GameCube on Wii once, and that was when I got together with a bunch of friends to play Mario Party 7 together. Good times...
:P
Very often.I use my console to play GC games more than Wii games. That said,my GC collection is around twice as large as my Wii collection.

Me too.
There were plenty of good GC games that I missed, so out of guilt, I bought P.N.03, Viewtiful Joe, and Killer 7. Haven't actually played them yet...
I love the fact that with my Wii, I can put my games in progressive scan mode, which I couldn't do with my Gamecube becasue I didn't own the component cables for it. I'm replaying through Rogue Leader at the moment, and having a blast.
My buddies and I have been playing a lot of Melee lately (which is awesome because I do not have to play Brawl online as often when bored) so yes. But Melee is the only game I play. You can use a classic controller or a Gc controller to navigate the wiimenu. Plus, using the wii gives you access to VC and other non-game channels.

I don't know about classic but I know for sure you can't with a Gamecube controller.I don't have any more GameCube games, I traded them in for new Wii games.
Once I'm working full time, I won't have to anymore.

But then how is he supposed to claim that his Wii is collecting dust?
I'm really happy with my Wii and don't get me wrong but I find myself using the Wii almost exclusively for Super Smash Brothers Melee so I value the backwards compatibility of my Wii very much. I do play other games when I have the time to but usually, it's just for a few sets of Melee with friends theses days.

Really funny there. I like you sport you've got moxie for talking trash in a light-hearted way. So here I go!
There are a few reasons why my Wii is not hooked up to the TV despite the fact that I own like over ten Wii games (which is quite a bit). Plus, I love my Wii. No More Heroes is my GotY for 2008 and one of my all-time favorite games. Period.
But let's go.
First is the set-up. The place where I put my consoles makes it difficult to find a good spot for the motion-sensor. It won't be right on the TV, which is a problem. So I bring it out whenever I want to play Wii games and just place the motion sensor in the best spot possible.
Next up are the tiny children that love to play my GameCube. I don't want them destroying my Wii nor do I want them flinging my remotes around (which when I let them play and supervise them, they do just that), bless their terror-inducing hearts, because I like to take care of my $250 investment, even if the game releases are still sparse. Just because not enough good games come at a fast enough pace doesn't mean I hate the Wii. I love the games I have it on it. I played through Twilight Princess and Mario Galaxy twice. No More Heroes is my favorite Wii game. Klonoa is a beautiful platformer. Mario Kart and ExciteBots are two fun as hell racers. Punch-Out!! is one of the most fun games I've played all year!
So here's the word from me: Don't assume crap, it makes you look dumb. Like really dumb.
What? Since when? I know if the Classic controller is connected to the Wiimote, you can use that, but I do not think the GC controller can do anything in the Wii menu. :?You can use a classic controller or a Gc controller to navigate the wiimenu.

That is correct. The GC controller can not be used in the Wii menu. Please don't state things you have no idea about, goblaa. I hate when people do that. You can use a classic controller or a Gc controller to navigate the wiimenu.

Almost all the time when I don't have a new DSi game or a new Wii game or trying to beat a Wii game.
Despite having lots of gamecube games, I rarely load them up these days. I guess because they're stored away in a box so they're out of sight (thus out of mind). Then there's the fact that several of them have become obsolete, with newer versions of some games being released on other platforms. However, I still love my gamecube, it being the console that really brought me over to Nintendo. Before that I had always admired Nintendo games, and went from only having a gameboy and constantly seeing the Mario Tennis advert on tv and thinking that it looked so much fun, to finally walking into a store one day and buying the Zelda gamecubebundle with Mario Kart, and also picking up Super Smash Bros Melee and Puzzle Bobble. I was mostly a pc gamer before that and so can credit the GC for helping me to see light. So many good gaming memories with the GC :)
