Ive been thinking about getting a DS and buying a pokemon game too bring back some memories of my past, but I feel like I'm old. 18 years to be exact. How old are you guys playing pokemon? lol
I'm twenty one, my dad is fifty three and he plays. Getting tired of hearing this stuff. If you think you'll enjoy it, play it and stop worrying about what everyone else thinks.
I'm 15 (pretty close to 16), and I've played Pokemon since I was 6. Don't be worried about how other people perceive you, if they can't accept you for who you are and what you enjoy, that's their problem.
I'm a month away from being 19, and I LOVE these games. So does my GF and all of my other friends of the same age group. We all grew up playing these games and they have brought us nothing but good times. I don't think age matters when you're enjoying a good ol' Pokemon game ;)
19. I used to play Yellow and Silver on my old Yellow/blue Pikachu edition Gameboy Color. I skipped all the GBA pokemon games, but then got Diamond for the DS. I didn't get the remakes of Gold and Silver because my DS was broken at the time, but when I purchased a 3DS recently I picked up White to play and will probably get Gold and Silver somewhere down the road.

Im 20 and I love the games. Actually our age group are the most pokemon players due to the show coming to America at a time when most of us were between 1st and 4th grade, so it garnered a lot of fans that still play today- fun fact lol seriously though, good old rpg that shouldnt be passed up :P
been playing since the first, Red was my game and still love it to this day in fact i just finished Red for the 6th time the other week and plan to get black within the week. . . ahhh good times :)

Me and my roommate are both in our mid 20's and still playing. And my roommate looks like a 45-year-old (seriously, he started buying M rated games when he like like 10 and was never asked to show ID, and did the same with alcohol at age 15). So there is no age limit (can't believe so many people still think there is), and honestly, people much older than you play these games.
I'm 17 and still playing pokemon. I had a ten year gap between gold and platinum because someone stole my gold. Now I have pokemon White and I'm loving it!
I'm almost 23 and I still like Pokemon. My girlfriend is older than me and likes playing from time to time. If you are ashamed to play Pokemon, you have some insecurity issues.
I started with Crystal in 2001 and then got Gold, Red, and Yellow later. Skipped Generation 3 and started again with Platinum in 2009 then got Heartgold in 2010. Now I have Black and White.
I'm 20 and I'm almost done with my sophomore year at college and I love Pokemon. A lot of people here who are the same age as me and older play Pokemon too.

Don't worry, I'm 22 and not a senior, and I still play and love pokemon. I'm right there with you on that, gotten every generation possible! POKEPOWER!!!
