There's nothing tacked on about the accuracy of aiming. One could say the sword control is, but I still love them.
The controls aren't fine, some people don't understand that the sword doesn't match their movements. I'm also surprised that those people can turn the Wii on let alone play the game.
You swing the controller for each strike that you'd normally hit a button for. So in a case where you'd press the button three times you'd swing the controller three times.
Just as responsive but takes a little bit of the boredom out of the game when doing it on the Wii.

Do you mean "are fine"? Because if not, you kinda argued against yourself.

I loved TP. I had no idea what Jeff was talking about. The laser was a little imprecise, but it was functional. It's not like it KILLED the game.I gave TP a 9.7 as well because the controls didn't bug me that much but when I played it, I would swing too fast and it would seem unresponsive which really can be an issue.
Oh, yeah, I gave TP a 9.7(check my review). A 40-hour minimum adventure game deserves nothing short of a 9.0.
As for you people that disliked the nunchuks motion sensor, you're lazy ;-p

I believe I mentioned something about that in my review. You're in the middle of leaping between to distances and (moving) the "Wiimote" could cause you to do a downward slash, which could really screw you up. hydrophoboe
Isn't that more of a case of getting used to the new controls?
The way that people had to learn not to hit the shoulder buttons accidently when they were added to controllers?

Honestly, I don't want to go back to a standard control pad. I love the way the game controls, and I think it obliterates the old style of control.Rockingtime75
I feel the same way. I like the new way of playing better than the old way. It makes the old way, even the sword fighting feel dead to me now, not tacked on for me at all. I think the sword fighting adds a level of immersion not found by just pushing a button. You feel like your really giving it to them every once in a while, a real physical experience.
I heard that one of the many reason jeff complained about TP is the control is tact-on. however, just how tact-on is the control? I want an honets opinion, BTW.JesterSageIts not really that bad, for the most part its good and doe's a incredible job, Its not perfect but ohh well I can live with it.
