Agreed. It needs tabs. I refuse to use an Internet Browser in 2008 that doesn't use tabs. Even the PSP internet browser has tabs.

If it doesn't freeze the system I'd be ok with tabs.
Since I've reached the memory limit a thousand times so far I'm not sure how well it'd fly
I want it to play more video formats.j-tron

Well, that's one of my main complaints with the Internet Channel in general and why I hardly ever use it. Most sites today are made assuming that the user has way more than 88 MB of RAM.
Copy and paste as it stands is rublish. It's no good in the following scenario, for example, copying a generated password from a web-based email, to a text box on another site in order to complete your registration doesn't currently work.
Plus:
1. Built in support for tabbed browsing. Essential for searching these days. Being able to have your webmail open in one window (e.g. to get registration info) while looking at another site is very very useful, without having to effectively close down the site you're on, and then come back again just to register etc.
2. Remembering user's previously entered words as a custom dictionary alongside the built-in dictionary. Useful for quickly entering common things like your email address, or roads, people's names, etc.
3. Dictionary, favourites and cookies should be tied to a user's Mii, allowing different favourites to be stored depending on who is using it, and be able to set the "remember my password" option on websites, without it affecting every other Wii user in your household.
4. Quick delete entire text box value, e.g when holding down delete key for 5 seconds, or easier navigation around the textbox. Useful for when I've done a search, and then want to change my search terms, or when replying to an email, and the box automatically focuses to the bottom of the text, most likely under any signatures that have been put in, etc. You then need to navigate back up to the right place, which takes time.
5. Encourage Adobe to get Flash 8 or 9 working in the Wii browser, as oo many sites rely on it :(
6. Additional setup feature: choose a webmail client (or provide your own Wii channel equivalent email client!) so that the mailto protocol works.
7. Support mpeg format? I would like to be able to stream samples of tunes when at mp3 stores like juno or djdownload.com!
That's a few for them to be getting on with. I emailed Nintendo myself in November 2007, but they responded to say there are no plans to release a new version of the browser, but that my email had been passed onto Nintendo Europe.com.
Rather sad, I set up a facebook group for my protesting....we've gotta get our issues out somehow :)
