I'd have to say I wish that the Virtual Console games were half the price that they are now.
So 2.50 for a NES game and 5 bucks for a N64 game.
No more friend codes.VGobbsesserhow about automatic fc's? For ex: if you play with someone online, later you can go back to a list and delete them if you don't like them, or keep them as friends....
Friend Codes are in place to make the internet a "safer" experience for the predominant amount of users for the wii. Namely, kids. Sorry folks, but other people who are a more mature audience play video games. Chat isn't a necessity, but it adds to the overall feeling of the game. At least offer a way to talk to others via a headset or something. People are going to talk crap, complain, and brag like crazy. The only difference is the fact that it gets broadcasted.
Friend Codes is a broken and archaic idea Nintendo, you really need to get your butts in gear and allow for more internet customization. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for Nintendo to finalize the news of Smash Bros. being online, and for a while I had my doubts. Now that it is confirmed I can breathe easy, yet it feels very bare bones atm. I hope they do expand the online capacities of the Wii and the DS as well. Although it could be argued, the DS doesn't have as far to go considering they already have more support and games online-enabled then Wii.
Basically I'm just waiting for Nintendo to finally embrace the internet fully as a support system. They are just shooting themselves in the foot by limiting this sort of thing. They are lagging behind as far as support is concerned. The competing systems had internet access while Nintendo quailed from it. (Phantasy Star doesn't count people, that wasn't near enough.) I've always felt that Nintendo has always been on the cutting edge of development, but they lag behind in some areas that aren't acceptable. You've got yourself a great base Nintendo, now do something with it and you'll really start crushing the competition.
It is very good but it has some flaws:
It would be better with better graphics like halo 3......
A online shooter or even halo on the wii(sweet)
DVD player (it lacks it much)
DIFFRENT GODAMN COLOURS i am getting sik of white i want black, blue or red or green.
Diffrent wiimotes colours
Cool stands for it
Customized wii menu
I think i have sed enough so nintendo do this and i will be really happy

i know it has 32 players online but if you read my comment i said no ww2. ww2 games seem dull to meI've been reading over some of these changes and some of them work for some people but not for others. I could do without almost all of the requests so far.
1. DVD playback---I've got a PS2, xbox and PC all sitting within a few feet of my Wii...
2. A headset---This one seems to be a given for most folks. I don't need it though since I don't play a lot of online games, esp ones that require team coordination.
3. Better graphics---I got nothing. I'm not gonna snub some pretty graphics. 720p seems to be the right fit but I doubt it will happen unless they release a new version of the Wii that supports it. And even then I won't get one unless I'm given a substantial credit on my trade-in. I don't think a firmware update is gonna fix this one guys.
4. New colors---meh, who needs it? IMO, useless cosmetic change.
5. Rechageable batteries for wiimotes---they sell those don't they?
6. Better motion sensing---I can see that. I agree here.
7. Better online---yeah. It would be nice if the online system was coherent. I don't own any online games but I've read enough complaints about it to get the impression that it can cause undue frustration in some areas regarding match making and making/saving contacts. It is free though...
Here are my suggestions:
1. Allow for a bit of customization on the main menu. As it stands now, all the channels are thrown in together in one pot. I'd like to be able to split up channels by type, for example: split up info channels and game channels and split up game channels by system so you'd have a channel for NES games, Super Nintendo games, 64 games and so on.
2. Add an online channel for keeping track of your friends. It should tell you everyone that's your friend, all the people you've played online with recently and who's currently on.
3. Instead of having seperate FC for each online game, utilize the Wii number instead and link it to the "console nickname" in the settings so that when you're online, it shows the console nickname.
4. Do something worthwhile with the Mii channel or allow me to remove it completely without losing any game saves tied to my Mii. Actually, let me remove any channel that I don't use.
5. Going back to splitting up game channels, I'd like a progress channel for Wii (and possibly GC) games that reads your save games and tells you how much you've completed on each title.
6. Implement the custom soundtrack feature (a la excite truck) into many more games in the future. It's great to be able to choose your music.
If I think of more, I'll post them.

A USB extention that adds an ethrenet portA7Xfan
That accessory already exists.
Get rid of sensor bar either by including it on the front panel of the Wii or by figuring out a way to skip needing it at allA7Xfan
If the Sensor bar were on the front of the Wii, people would have no choice but to put there Wii directly on top of bottom of their TVs. And you couldn't get rid of it all together, since the only alternative for a pointer system is the thru-TV method, which only works with CRTs (and wouldn't allow for a cursor).
