I would widen the screens, while leaving the DS the same size, by making the speakers vertical and using up all of that extra space. Then, I would make it as slim as possible and make the GBA games not stick out.
lets see... fm/am raio, better speakers, brighter screens, multimedia functions, normal browser, more ram inside, impossible to scratch touchscreen and top screen, sleeker, online gamestore(PSN type), matte surface exterior, gba slot flush with system , built in webcam, better MIC, bigger stylus, ability to configure profile on ds, no friendcodes(instead the profile system)...
I think I micro ds would be awsome. I don't know if you remember that 1 yr old gameboy thing but it was basically the smallest gameboy invented. It looked like a GBA but tinier so I would just like to connect two of them and remove the buttons on the upper ones as well as make the bottem ones touch screen!
I owuld widen the screens, change the type of buttons for START and SELECT...make them softer and move the microphone somewhere else...i dont think it works right where it is
I'd say wider screens with higher resolution. Add in media functionality and a web browser. That's about it. Other than that the system is pretty perfect to me.
the mic needs to move, it needs an mp3 player, pictochat online, scratch-resistant screen, and a new way to holld it so i dont get a crook in my neck after an hour or two.

I had a real cool attachment on my GBA (not the Sp, just a normal GBA) that made it feel and look like a Consol controller..most similar to the gamecude...id like the design to feel like an consol controller.
Bigger and higher resolutions screens would be nice. And maybe a slot for SD, so that we could actually keep our demos on the system (and also potentially open it up to other downloadable services, such as its own versions of the virtual console and wiiware).

Ooh, I got a good suggestion, let's keep the mic for stuff like voice chat. But let's get nintendo to ban all games that make you blow into it. Seriously, nothing makes me looked dummer than blowing into the DS when I'm in public.
Better speakers (yeah. theses speakers suck), harder touch screen (less scratches), GBA slot deeper (so games doesn't stick out), better internet options and the microphone need to change place (so sounds that comes out of the speakers don't get into the microphone... Maybe a better microphone too?...... Less blowing, more speaking!
i would like a ds with a more powerful mic (and in a different place),better and louder sound perhaps an attachable boom box,increased graphics,brighter screen analog sticks,profiles,titanium coating and laminated glass screen screen.titanium stilus ,internet,usb port,memory card usage (to save demos movies etc.)deep gba slot,5megapixel camera
It would be nice if the gba slot was refined so that a regular GBA game could sit flush inside the DS lite like it does on a regular DS. I would also consider a new location for storing the stylus because then the bottom half could probably be thinner as well. As far as the touch screen goes, I would hope it's inexpensive enough to make it into a multi-touch capable display, like with the iPhone/iPod touch. Better microphone placement so that I can still see what's going on with both screens even when I am having to blow into it. Enough with the proprietary cartridges and let us use something like standardized SD cards or something. Support SDHC while we're at it and you can have games as big as dual-layer DVD stuff like on the 360 (you can get an 8GB SDHC for as little as $15 now, maybe less). No. More. FRIEND CODES! Augh, I hate that system!
