Went to my WalMart recently to see if there was anything of interest I felt like buying, and lo-and-behold, nothing, well, aside from Super Paper Mario.(which I unfortunately couldn't spare cash for, wish Nintendo had their 1st/2nd-party prices chopped by $10)
Â
Anyhows, my WalMart's got a nice collection of Wii games atm, with their copy of Tiger Woods sold out, which somewhat surprised me, and they killed the price on a couple launch titles (FarCry & Splinter Cell) to sell them and get them out of the way for newer stuff, which is fairly nice (shame that FarCry got crap ratings), cheapest Wii games for sale I've seen so far.
Â
Still have yet to see an actual Wii for sale since I got mine way back in Nov19, but at least they've now got Wii remotes in stock, and in large numbers now, including Wii Point cards, albeit no Nunchuks still in stock. (which I wouldn't mind getting for my 3rd remote >.>)
Â
Last thing that came as a surprise for me was see'ing the official Wii component cables in stock, thought those were going to be an online-order only thing, unless Nintendo changed their mind recently or something?
(either that or to combat the 3rd-party alternatives available at some places)
Â
Regardless, seems to be doing pretty damn nicely still months after it's release, unlike the still full XBX360/PS3 compartments (both game & systems) in the same electronics portion of the store.
